Thursday the 8th of July saw the ESG welcoming representatives of the Funeral Director profession at their 3rd round table event in the series aimed at identifying where the bereavement sector is in relation to the carbon net zero challenge and its response to the Climate Emergency.
Taking time to review progress to date, concerns and engagement we reviewed the similar challenges across the other 3 elements of the sector. Our discussions clearly identified the need for increased activity and engagement which have set the scene for a proposed round up in early September with all sections of the sector.
